TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
We operate the website https://ocrmd.com (the 'Site'), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the 'Legal Terms') (collectively, the 'Services').
OCRMD is a powerful OCR solution that transforms scanned documents, image files, and non-select-able PDFs into editable Markdown. OCRMD.com delivers AI-enhanced text recognition with formatting, math, table, and image detection at 90-99% accuracy, securely stores uploads and results for document organization and full-text search, and lets you download results anytime, from anywhere. By eliminating manual transcription, OCRMD streamlines content workflows and makes unsearchable text instantly accessible and reusable.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
The Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the Services. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or guardian read and agree to these Legal Terms prior to you using the Services.

4. USER REGISTRATION
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer-service enquiries and handles returns. Consequently, we never receive or store your full payment-card details.
We accept the following forms of payment at checkout:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
You must supply current, complete and accurate account information and keep your e-mail address, billing address and payment credentials up to date so that Paddle and we can finalise your transaction and contact you if needed.
Immediately before clicking the Pay now
button you will be shown (i) the product or credit package selected, (ii) the total price, including any applicable VAT/GST or other sales taxes, and (iii) whether the purchase is a one-off or a recurring subscription. You may correct input errors on that summary screen or abort the purchase by closing the window.
Prices are displayed in United States dollars (USD), euro (EUR) or any other currency supported by Paddle for your territory. If your payment method is denominated in a different currency, your card issuer or wallet provider may apply its own exchange rate and fees. Paddle, as Merchant of Record, calculates, collects and remits all indirect taxes (e.g. EU/UK VAT, AU GST, US sales tax) where legally required.
By submitting an order you authorise Paddle to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown, plus any currency-conversion fees charged by your provider. We may correct typographical pricing errors even after an order has been submitted; if the corrected price is higher you may cancel without penalty.
An electronic receipt will be sent automatically by Paddle once payment has cleared. Fulfilment (delivery of licence keys / credit balance activation) is immediate and occurs either on the success page or via the confirmation e-mail. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that, in our sole judgement, appears fraudulent or intended for resale.
Credit Value and Service Availability: Credits may lose relative economic value over time owing to inflation, increased operating costs and other factors beyond our control. We guarantee access to purchased credits and to the Services for exactly two (2) years from the purchase date, provided the Services remain in operation. If we discontinue the Services we will give at least sixty (60) days' notice and, where feasible, offer data export or an alternative solution.
Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK Consumers): If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason. However, that right expires once the digital service has been fully performed. Because credits are delivered and usable immediately, you expressly request and consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once any portion of the credits has been used. If you have not used any credits you may exercise the right by e-mailing jonas@merginit.com within 14 days of purchase. Paddle will process the refund within 14 days via the original payment method.
If you enrol in a subscription, the billing interval and price will be stated clearly in the checkout. Your subscription will renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the Paddle purchase e-mail or by contacting Paddle Buyer Support; cancellation prevents future charges but does not retroactively refund past periods unless required by applicable law.
Please contact Paddle Buyer Support or us first to resolve any payment issue. Unauthorised chargebacks may result in the suspension of your account. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory rights.
